UTV-Bloomberg has selected Dr. G. Kannabiran as the ‘Best I.T. Faculty’ in the country. Contrary to popular beliefs and practices of Engineering faculties receiving the award, Dr. Kannabiran is from a management institute. Dr.Kannabiran has been associated with a lot of research and consultancy and is Dean-Research & Consultancy. Apart from individual achievements DoMS achieved 3 more awards fo the department. The year began by recognition from Star Network for ‘Best B-School, Soth India’ . A few months later VGSOM,IIT-Bombay conferred the ”Dewang Mehta Award for Most Innovative Teching Methods in Mnagement’. In january reinstaed faith in us as ‘Best B-School, South India’ .All of a sudden DoMS has started jumping rankings and achieving awards and accolades which is being reflected in the increasing cut-off for admission.These are omens that DoMS is headed in the right direction !
